Senza alcun particolare annuncio, Creative ha introdotto il suo nuovo MovieWorks HD iPod dock tramite la sua controllata Cambridge Soundworks. Il dispositivo consente all’iPod video di riprodurre su un HDTV, un videoproiettore o comunque, un dispositivo mediante connessione HDMI, i filmati contenuti nel dispositivo con un upscale a 1080i. Il sistema supporta anche l’audio 5.1 canali surround DTS.

I segnali audio possono essere trattati con Creative Xi-Fi Xtreme Fidelity, Crystallizer e tecnologia CMSS-3D. Crystallizer è stato progettato per migliorare i dettagli della musica compressa, mentre CMSS-3D converte il segnale stereo in multi-canale surround DTS. Il pacchetto comprende un telecomando per navigare attraverso i menu dell’ iPod attraverso lo schermo del televisore. E’ possibile inoltre acquistare anche un ricevitore wireless opzionale che permette di distribuire la musica in tutta la casa.
