AMD ha presentato qualche giorno fa la Radeon HD 5670, una scheda caratterizzata da un buon livello prestazionale con un prezzo aggressivo di 100$ (sotto i 100 euro). Potrebbe essere una scheda interessante non tanto per giocatori incalliti ma per chi si vuol creare un HTCP da salotto e mantenere i costi contenuti.

La scheda è costruita con processo produttivo a 40nm abbinato a memorie di tipo GDDR5 e con bus di comunicazione 128-bit. Aspetto interessante è la compatibilità con le DirectX 11 e con la tecnologia multi-monitor ATI Eyefinity.E' incluso il supporto HDMI 1.3, all' Ati CrossFireX e all' HDCP copy Protection nei contenuti in alta risoluzione. I consumi vanno dai 15W a riposo fino ad un massimo di 64W.
